Privacy Policy

This policy covers how unClick handles your information, on this website and inside the app. The short version: we collect as little as possible, your photos never leave your device, and we don't sell anything to anyone.

01 Who We Are

"unClick", "we", "us", and "our" refers to the publisher of the unClick iPhone camera app and the website at unclickapp.com. Questions about this policy can be sent to hello@unclickapp.com.

02 Information We Collect

When you sign up for unClick communications or create an account, we collect:

• Your name and email address (provided by you when signing up)
• Your IP address (automatically captured to help us detect duplicate signups and prevent abuse)
• The date and time of your signup
• An email verification status (we send a confirmation email and record whether you verified)

This is the only information we collect from website visitors. The unClick app itself processes all images and camera data on your device. No app data is transmitted to us, ever.

Your photos. Photos you capture with the unClick app are stored on your device in your iOS Photos library. They are never uploaded to our servers. We cannot see them. We don't want to see them.

Feedback and support emails. If you email us or submit feedback through the App Store, we'll see what you send us. If you include screenshots or attachments, we'll see those too.

03 How We Use Your Information

We use your name and email to:

• Send you a verification email to confirm your signup
• Respond to support requests and feedback you send us
• Send occasional product updates, news, and announcements about unClick and Ground Glass Technologies LLC

You may unsubscribe from any of these communications at any time by emailing hello@unclickapp.com or by using the unsubscribe link included in our emails.

We will never sell, rent, or share your contact information with third parties for their marketing purposes.

04 Third-Party Service Providers

To operate this website and the App, we use the following service providers:

Hostinger. Hosts the website and the database that stores email signups. Hostinger acts as our hosting provider and has access to the underlying infrastructure but does not access the contents of our database for any purpose other than providing hosting services.

Resend. Sends transactional emails on our behalf, including verification emails and product communications. Resend processes email addresses solely to deliver emails we send and does not use this information for its own purposes.

Apple App Store. Distributes the unClick app. When you download the App, Apple's privacy policy applies to that relationship.

These providers are bound by their own privacy commitments and data protection obligations.

05 Data Retention and Deletion

We retain your information for as long as you remain on the unClick communications list. You can request deletion of your information at any time by emailing hello@unclickapp.com. Upon request, we will remove your record from our database within 30 days.

06 Data Controller

This website and the unClick app are operated by Ground Glass Technologies LLC, an Illinois limited liability company. Ground Glass Technologies LLC is the data controller responsible for the information collected through this website.

Prior to the formation of Ground Glass Technologies LLC on April 30, 2026, the website was operated by Daniel M. Ablan as a sole proprietor. All data collected during that period has been transferred to Ground Glass Technologies LLC, which has assumed all responsibilities of the data controller going forward.

07 Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Request a copy of the information we hold about you
• Request correction of any inaccurate information
• Request deletion of your information
• Withdraw your consent to our processing of your information at any time

08 Children

unClick is not directed to children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us with information, please contact us and we'll delete it.

09 Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your information: encrypted connections, limited access, trusted service providers. That said, no system is perfectly secure, and we can't guarantee that information transmitted over the internet will always be safe. If there's ever a breach that affects you, we'll let you know as soon as we reasonably can.

10 Cookies and Tracking

The unclickapp.com website may set a small number of cookies for basic functionality and aggregated analytics. We don't use cross-site advertising cookies, and we don't participate in ad networks. You can disable cookies in your browser at any time. The site will still work.

11 International Users

unClick is operated from the United States. If you're using the app or this website from outside the U.S., your information may be transferred to and processed in the United States. By using unClick, you consent to this transfer.

12 Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. If we do, we'll post the updated version on this page and update the "Effective" date. Material changes will be communicated by email where reasonably practical. Continuing to use unClick after changes means you accept them.
